The Beginner's Guide to App Development

The next top mobile application is something that everyone wants to create.

If you know what you’re doing, it can be a very lucrative way to earn some money.

You might have been shocked to learn how expensive it is to outsource development if you have a great idea for a mobile app and have chosen to consult with a app developer or a Mobile App Development Companies.

You had the thought, “I can just learn to do this myself,” at that point.

I can identify.

It’s the reason I started learning how to code and developing mobile applications.

But where do you even begin?

There are a few different paths you can take, depending on your intentions and current circumstances.

Even things like how to calculate the price of developing mobile apps will be covered.

Although creating mobile and web apps may seem intimidating, the process is really no different from creating any other kind of application. It will become much simpler with practise and effort.

Additionally, it is beneficial to receive advice from a subject-matter authority (me in this case).

Here is all the information you require.

Don’t let the sheer number of apps available on various mobile platforms intimidate you.

Yes, there will be competition, but most of it probably won’t be in your field.

Additionally, a lot of available apps are total garbage.

You won’t need to be concerned about competing with them either.

Having said that, it’s critical that you have a specific objective before you work as a developer.

Here are a few typical situations:

  • You want to start your own business.
  • You’re attempting to work for yourself or run a business that develops mobile apps (mobile development services are in high demand)
  • You are a business owner who lacks the resources to contract out app development

You most likely fit one of these three categories. Whatever your situation, it’s important to remember that there are many different types of mobile app developer. There is a demand for Android app development, iOS app development, and development needs for multiple platforms, including hybrid mobile apps, throughout the app development industry. Some Android programmers also work as app developer. By taking this route, you can simultaneously learn how to create Android and web applications.

Suppose you came up with the next big thing.

You want to use that idea to create an app that will outperform Instagram or Snapchat.

If you fit this description, I sincerely admire your drive.

This won’t be a simple path, but if you succeed, it might be the most lucrative.

You’ll have to learn how to start from scratch in this situation.

You should also think about how you want to monetize your app.

You might not want to rely solely on paid downloads.

So be sure to consider your plan for turning a profit before you jump in with both feet.

This is not something you need to be concerned about if you want to work as a freelance app developer or open your own app store.

By charging clients to have apps created for them, you can profit.

You can work as a consultant and charge more for your services if you also have marketing expertise.

You would probably be wise to know a few different money-making techniques in this situation.

Or you could just stick to getting acquainted with the top resources for mobile app developer.

It won’t be cheap, unless you’re considering travelling to Indonesia.

An app will typically take 7-9 months to develop and cost around $270,000.

For some businesses, that figure is improbable.

Your business might not even be able to qualify for a $200,000 line of credit, let alone spend more than $250,000 on an app.

So what is the answer?

Option #1: Simply become proficient in coding.

Learning to code is your best bet if you want to work as a mobile app developer.

Although not necessary for everyone, this will be the best option for some of you.

I’m talking to you if you want to create the next Snapchat or Instagram.

The good news is that you can learn to code without returning to school.

You can learn how to code for free online thanks to some great resources.

I’ll demonstrate some of my favourites.

New users can try Team Treehouse for free for a week.

So long as you have access to Wi-Fi, you can learn to code from your personal computer anywhere.

Option #2: Employ app developer

Existing business owners who want to use a mobile application to improve their enterprise should use app developer.

You might not have the money to hire someone else to build it for you for more than $200,000.

Due to the time demands of running a business, learning to code is probably also not an option.

Additionally, app builders are perfect for freelancers and business owners who want to earn some money by creating apps for other companies.

If you choose the right app developer, neither of these situations requires any coding knowledge.

Option #3: Use coding and app builders (using BF SDK)

The third option for becoming a mobile app developer combines our previous two choices.

You can use some coding and an app building service.

The BuildFire software development kit comes to mind.

This kit can teach you how to build the app yourself rather than having our team do it for you.

You can make more money once you figure out how to give your customers custom features.

Although compared to our previous option, this will require more time and effort, it all comes down to personal preference.

Although you won’t be able to work with as many clients, each project will have higher margins.
